Planet Forefather
Volume I: Extinction
Thousands of years ago a violent return of the gods resulted in the great culling of our species. The survivors of the Earth coalesced and developed technology superior to their creators and have taken the fight to Planet Forefather. First Lieutenant John Kotov, Solar Marine and seasoned cave assault leader is the tormented veteran of this story. From the gigantic space station Andromeda orbiting Planet Forefather, Kotov is assigned a last, dangerous mission to end the war.
What if humans had been created, enslaved and abandoned by their gods? This series is inspired by Sumerian and Tanakh histories that tell of the creation of man by superior beings. Countless generations across cultures have passed down stories of how we were created and taught to serve these entities. Mesopotamian and Tanakh histories tell of our engineering as a problem-solving slave species until a near-extinction during the great flood. Records indicate a troubled compromise with the gods which resulted in human kingdoms. Centuries later, Roman historian Tacitus chronicles a battle in the skies above Jerusalem and the divinities departing.
