Finally, Another Writer!

Here’s one for you; a writer who doesn’t speak regularly with other writers? Well, in my case it’s true, and it’s not an obstacle that’s easy to overcome. For the most part, I write in English. But the problem is that I live in a small town in Tuscany where there really isn’t much of any writing community, let alone an English speaking one. I know a few writers, but they write only in Italian and aren’t particularly chatty about the craft. I’m part of an Italian poetry group, but I don’t write poetry. Listening to the poets is great, but it’s hard for me to draw from their art.

But finally, I have found another writer who writes in English and wants to talk to me! I haven’t met her yet, but I am very much looking forward to our meeting next week to pick her brain.
