The Blood Interrogator Companion Anthology draft is complete! What a relief! What a great feeling of satisfaction! There really are few things that can give a man a sense of delight like completing a project. I finished the first draft of the three stories, a total of about 40,000 words, in about two weeks. I would say that’s a reasonably short period of time. I have to let it decant for a couple of weeks at least before I finish it up. I definitely need a break from these stories because the subject matter is quite intense. While the anthology decants, I’ll write up a blurb to share in a future post.

Tomorrow, I think I’ll work on some flash fiction. I don’t have any ideas, but I’m sure something will come to me if I sit down and start writing. Maybe I’ll use the dreaded amount of yard work and gardening that needs to be done in Tuscany this time of year as inspiration. It’s not inspiring, but it’s work that needs to be done. Spring is blooming and anything even vaguely green is growing like mad.

The book blurb will be written up soon!
