Too Ambitious?

Was I being too ambitious thinking I could write two pieces of flash fiction in a week of traveling, both related to the cold? Maybe. I finished the first following my rules; one day to write and a half day to edit. I have to admit though, it could use a further edit but self-imposed rules are self-imposed rules. Tomorrow I will be publishing this short piece of flash fiction entitled “Christmas Savior”.

The second piece I started but stopped writing it halfway through. The problem was that I could see I would never be able to complete it as a single piece. I love writing short series as flash fiction, but too many of them can get confusing. And writing a series is technically not flash fiction, even if I approach each short chapter with a fresh mind without any idea of where the plot is taking me.

Much thinking to do…
