Dead Sara Inspired Stories

Welcome to my page of flash fiction inspired by the music of Dead Sara. When writing these pieces, I loop a song and start typing without anything in mind. I let the words or the music or the atmosphere guide me during my writing. I do not interpret what Dead Sara wrote. I am not looking for hidden meanings in their songs. I simply allow their great music to filter inside me and I use whatever is being transmitted to write an independent piece of fiction. Be it a captured lyric, a grinding guitar riff, a thump of a drum or a mighty howl, something great will come from using Dead Sara to write prose.

My writing rules are stricter than ever. One single loop session of one hour to write the rough draft, then I allow myself two other, one-hour loop sessions to revise the piece. That’s it. If it works, I’ll publish it. If it doesn’t, I trash it and start over. Somehow I think I’ll be just fine.
